Death in the afertnoon

Tradition has it that this was Ernest Hemingway's favorite drink during his time in Paris.

  • A part of Pernod;

  • Cold Brut Champagne;

  • Ice cubes;

  1. Place two ice cubes in a champagne flute and pour Pernod over the ice.

  2. Carefully add the chilled champagne and stir very slowly so as not to miss the bubbles.
