Tradition has it that this was Ernest Hemingway's favorite drink during his time in Paris.

A part of Pernod;
-
Cold Brut Champagne;
-
Ice cubes;
-
Place two ice cubes in a champagne flute and pour Pernod over the ice.

Carefully add the chilled champagne and stir very slowly so as not to miss the bubbles.
